@deffury I didn't knew that there are two versions of E6300, Conroe & Wolfdale. Mine's the Wolfdale (dual core) version, can you tell me how does the Conroe (core 2 duo) perform?

Good enough to run games. I can overclock it but I dont have the necessary cooling to do that. But then again I dont need it. Basic copy/zip/encoding is good.

I still havent finished "Prince of Persia", not to mention "World in Conflict"

Believe me, don’t give out this processor to any one.

I loved it a lot. Hyper Threading was great in Pentium 4 Series. I still don’t feel current C2Ds better than that P4-HT.

^ Well then why dont you upgrade your PC? the least you should do is get a 256mb ram.
