You can use TP-Link 3G Router TL-MR3420 for EVOs.

A wifi rouer does have ethernet in most cases.

How do you connect your EVO connection to your computer? If it is via USB then routers that support that are (edit) called 3G routers. If it is via ethernet then any tplink router will suffice.

Most routers available in computer shops accept an Ethernet Internet connection (WAN connection) that is then shared with other computers on your network. That is why you can't use an EVDO device that is USB based.

BTW only wireless routers are available nowadays. These routers support wireless as well as wired internet connection sharing or networking. That is they have LAN ports for wired connections as well.

(edit: looks like I was wrong. 3G routers are available in the market as mentioned by Maverick. )
