Why not our movie industry can't able to make 3d movies like hollywood

why not our movie industry and bollywood can't able to make 3d movies like Hollywood movies like shrek 3 kang fu panda and ice age 3d is that just possible by the Hollywood are the use some kind of different computer and softwares?

You need money, expertise and creativity to do that. Indians and Pakistani's may possess the creativity and maybe even the expertise, but at the end of the day there isn't enough local demand for such movies to be successful. And an international release is not the easiest thing.

Bollywood might produce crap when it comes to the content of their movies, but the quality of the production is still decent. The Pakistani movie industry doesn't even match that for the time being. They are in no shape to compete with Hollywood yet...

Though we cant reach their level right now, we do have everything to make a 3D of our own and might even become famous, but the Lahori Movie mafia wont allow anything good to come and will always churn crappy Punjabi movies.

I have always stated that the movie industry should break into regions, and guys of y'old should be the head with guys like Anwar Maqsood, Rahat Qazmi, Moin Akhtar, Sania Saeed, and Khalid Anum. google them up, and you will know why them.

my guess: trend among young pakistani crowd in terms of movies

Movies : English = 100% Hollywood

Urdu/Hindi = 100% Bollywood (with exception of some quality production come out of Pakistan like recent "khuda ke liye" or "tere bin laden -semi indian production-")

If by 'Our movie Industry' you mean lollywood then this thread should start with following question

why not our movie industry is able to make movies

^ u were right

be happy man... we have the world's biggest "live human cartoon industry".

How do you figure that out? The cameras alone, even if someone decided to buy them, will cost more than a single local film’s budget. Post-production and then building a 3d cinema is another matter entirely. First they need to make something that is worth the time of sensible people.

^ Hmm... so we have potential to make "3D live human cartoons" now? deffury?

^We have the potential and resources to do anything, its just that we lack self belief.

I dont know about you guys but Commander safe guard looked pretty darn good to me.

Its a start and we should demand more show like this...

I only find this question the most sensible on the question asked in OP.

You really think first to make good quality movies and later about Animations.

@OP

I guess you thought of the question because… may be that you see a lot of expertise in 2D/3D animation fields in Pakistan… they why not call them all up and make a movie comparing the one from Hollywood??? … No!

There is not only the animator or a group of animators involved in production or making the movie (3D movie in your question). The whole crew has to be set up just like they do with a normal/regular film with real actors in it.

You really should ask a question that Why our film industry not able to make a good “Film”. When the film production will be good enough to call the audience in cinemas with a good stuff “in a good directed way” and “with a good script”. Then… the film makers would be able enough to use your animation expertise in a better way.

And one more, most important question is that what “sah” also has mentioned about the “demand”. There are, however, a several privately organised production units/firms which are working with 2D/3D graphics/animations in Pakistan. They have worked for local clients a very bit (one’s mentioned by “deffury”) of their works as most of their work are done for foreign clients. Three things here are very important to answer your question are “The Demand”, “The Investment” and “The Maker”. There is a quality of resources in here (in Pakistan) but every thing needs well planned direction to start and keep things alive.

A film named Zardari (an animated film) should be made in Pakistan:)

Hm u wanna see GANDASAwid 3d effects hah

you are addicted in lolly-wood home made movies yes i call them home made because those aren’t professional movies to reach international film industry and you want to see those *&^% in 3d too that’s so sad…Ministry Of Edu should introduce 3D Movie Making in college universities

1) We need the latest equipment

2) We don't have such experienced movie producers

3) We lack that much creativity

4) Education in film making is not common in our country

5) We need to invest heavily in the production of movies

Let them first make a decent film. which is not shot by the only camera available in lollywood dat the british forgot to take with em when they left in 1947.

Absolutely right. We should first make MOVIES then think of something beyond that.

prnblem isn't cameras dont blame them bcoz with these same cameras movies were shoted like heer ranjha , maula jutt , legends like waheed murad, m ali, munwar zreef and they became nations popular celebrities
