What is your opinion about this masla?

#1

well i just want your opinion about it and i really dont want anyone to comment on anyone's coment or start any such fight.....

just tell you opinion...

so the masla is...

" a person makes a website and puts pirated stuff or links to pirated stuff and promote pirated stuff on his website[which is a crime all over the world]

then he asks his vistors to donate him money for his work for pirated stuff and also puts ads on his website to make money

he gets money via ads and donating but through a website which is doing illegal work...."

so do u think he is earning halal money ............... by doing a crime??

#2

Not in my opinion.

You should consult an Aalim though. They can guide you better on this.

#3

What do you mean by put pirated stuff, means hosting or linking.

If the pirated stuff are hosted on the site like on file hosting site, there is no harm, if you see hala and harm then almost every thing is harm over internet. Videos you watch, song you listen, files you exchange , even the servers where you host your files are also on the money of "SUD".

Money you earn by placing ads also comes from "SUDI SYSTEM" which is also harm.

Directly or Indirectly "Haram" stuff comes when you get connected through internet,

well would be better if you consult an ALIM :)

its a very unusual yet interesting question. i think you are talking about the sites like rlslog.net and irfree.net etc etc.. if you talk about piracy then we shouldn't even be downloading pirated stuff coz its someone else's property but we do it all the time. again the question is too complicated. i'll get to it later.

#5

^^

i mean sites like gloomx.com etc....

like torent sites

#6

Well if the site hosts porn and related material it is not halal but if you put up educational and informative material that will spread knowledge positivly then it should be oky as you are helping society for the better. Movies and other stuff are waste of time and make people forget their culture and think they are Don etc..

This topic soon will be deleted or closed by mods.

You know my answer. (I had mentioned it many times but now mods do not allow me to write it because it is against forum rules :( )

Do whatever YOU want to do. Keep your conscious clean. You still have active conscious and that is making problem for you. This is good for you.

Just think of all those bureaucrats, armed officers, politicians, who "steal" everyday and still sleep calming in night. Why? Because they consult their Mullahs who tells them about "secret" prayers and Hajj/Umrah that cleanse their sins. :(

#8

^yes the darbari mullahs, who don't believe in Allah nor they think they will ever die

#9

If the source is not halaal, then the income (direct or indirect) is not halaal as well. Its as simple as that.

Piracy is basically stealing which is wrong. If anyone is involved directly (hosting pirated stuff) or indirectly (promoting piracy by making it easier to find pirated stuff), it is still stealing and hence wrong.

The fact that people try to justify wrong doing (religiously and/or socially) is what makes things complicated.
