What are "BITS" in Graphic card specification?

#1

- GeForce 4 MX 4000, 128 MB, 64 BITS

- GeForce FX 5200, 128 MB, 128 BITS

I want to ask that both graphic cards have the same 128MB Memory but what difference does BITS give to each card?

and how does it effects gaming?

If I need a gaming card which one should I choose from above?

it is the same as 32 bit processors and 64 bit processors... i new more a couple of years ago when i was doing electronic engineering... but as i am not into jobs, i didn't really care about the engineering knowledge and have forgetten like everything :P

here man>>128 and 256 bit refers to the ram which the graphic card has..the more bit the ram has the better,

like if the the graphic card has 256 bit,,then it means it will be able to move more data then a 128 bit or a 64 bit memory....
