Where to get a good brand Treadmill in Islamabad/Rawalpindi? Which brands are best and something with warranty? How much does a good one cost?

Any brand should be fine as long as it offers a warranty 6 months. I bought a large Apollo 1.75HP treadmill (1-12KPH with max load of 100kg) last year for 32k from Punjab Sports, Saddar. Automated but with manual incline/decline. A large belt and length allows for greater range of motion and you have less chances of slipping away.

Apollo's website is here: http://apollo-sports.com.pk/Motorized%20Treadmill.html

I'm not sure about how good the brand is but the treadmill I bought has been working good since last 1 year and 4 months.

Just a recommendation. Exercise equipment is expensive and you'd get a lot more for your money if you joined a nice gym where you'll have access to all kinds of other machines as well.

That’s true. But you’ll end up in more travel costs unless the gym is nearby. And there aren’t many localities where there are good gyms nearby. So that’s more of a viable option if the OP lives in Islamabad than Rawalpindi.

Moreover, I have seen busy gyms with free weights and crappy cable machines with few benches here and there (no treadmills or elliptical bikes whatsoever ). Why would I go to gym if all I required was free weights? These weights are very affordable (120rs / kg - used to be 80rs / kg last year) and I wouldn’t have to wait in queue to use the weights.

Not getting it for my self. Aunt is asking for it and they don’t have treadmills in gyms here, lol, well they do have but instead of it making you run, you have to run to make it run :P

Walking/Running is out of question here too right now. Taliban problem…
