Suggest me a PSU for dual core

i have a 300 Watt power supply and i want to replace it with new one because it has no sata options and i havd 500 Gb sata hard disk. my ram is 4 Gb and one dvd rom and one cd rom and 512Mb asus graphic card suggest me a best psu for my pc.

if u just want a sata option u can buy it separately from any good computer shop (call it "sata power connector"). but i suggest u to get atleast Cooler Master 460watt PSU for ur Current Config.

dont go for cooler master

they are crap

buy asus or carsair

^ Cooler Master is not a Crap. but they have a Medium Quality of Electronics Components in their PSU instead of Corsair (not asus)

just give them time and they ll blow up...

they blow bcuz of our WAPDA/KESC… what CM PSU’s need is 220volt, and what KESC give us is 180-200 (sometimes its getting worst than this). its bcuz of our voltage Variablity PSU bloow dhuz dhuz dhuz :D

what an asus psu needs is just electricity no bounds of voltage :)

it can suport frm 110-240volts...

btw go and ask on wccftech and pak gamers

u ll find victims of CM

yeah i saw many ppl complaining it. but i also see the ppl who are still using it w/o any kind of problem :). but now its good to not to buy a CM psu. get Corsair 520watt (recommended) or Asus 450watt :)

why 450 watts ?

i m running dual core , plus 2 sata HDD and one sata dvd , one IDE baracuda on 300 watts and its fine , more over it has , wireless lan PCI card too.

^^ he also has 512mb Asus Card + 4GB Ram. A 300watt PSU cant give u Right Ampere (whatever u want) on 12Volt Rails. so its better to buy a more stronger PSU than 300watt :)

Buy power master 750 watt just 2.4k

i also used some chinese brand psu of i think around 650 watt and used it for nearly an year without any problem but there was one catch we didnt have electricity fluctuations here nor much load shedding
