USE DU meter its best

Aldostools.com's NetMonitor (dunno if thats the name but its listed on the front page), a few KBs app, no installation needed, just click and run.

#7

After reading recommendations here I download DU Meter, and found it to be worthwhile, although a bit high on resources (background service and well as front end run as two separate processes, consuming around 4MB system memory), but the variety of reports it generates, is pretty good. I've ditched NetPerSec and using DU meter now. Thanks guys!

BTW, it's not freeware. I'm using V4.0 build 3009.

Du meter is good software.

well i have installed both netlimeter and dumeter but for some odd reason the speeds that both of them are showing are different, with dumeter always showing me alot higher speed thn what netlimeter is showing …now i don’t know which 1 to believe in!

i think 1 might b showin in bits and the other in bytes so thats why there is a huge difference

It would be quite a task to separate local network traffic (i.e. ftp access or file sharing among cable net users) from internet traffic as the same adapter is used for both purposes. At least I haven’t come across any which could do this.

#14

Just use two NICs and set DU Meter to monitor the NIC in use for internet traffic.
