#1

Before upgrade (I was on 2MBPS connection)

DSL Modulation Mode : ADSL2+

DSL Path Mode : INTERLEAVED

Downstream Rate : 4096 Kbps

Upstream Rate : 448 Kbps

Downstream Margin : 31 db

Upstream Margin : 17 db

Downstream Line Attenuation : 21

Upstream Line Attenuation : 11

After upgrade:

DSL Modulation Mode : ADSL2+

DSL Path Mode : INTERLEAVED

Downstream Rate : 16721 Kbps

Upstream Rate : 910 Kbps

Downstream Margin : 9 db <-------------

Upstream Margin : 10 db <-------------

Downstream Line Attenuation : 21

Upstream Line Attenuation : 11

Downstream Transmit Power : 0

Upstream Transmit Power : 0

Wtf happened here??? a low Down/Up stream noise margin is bad :(

Yes I've seen quite a few people complaining regarding this.

Are you getting your upgraded bandwidth properly OR this noise margin is getting in the way of what you should be achieving?

#4

the reason

your line does not supports that much bandwidth.. courtesy PTCL's poor copper network..

so now you have to downgrade to keep using DSL or get Alot of Disconnections...

how i know this for sure? because i upgraded to LDN's 4mbps and my line didnt support it .. my line margins went crazy.. then i downgraded and everything came back to normal.. now i m STUCK on 2mbps thanks PeeTCL...
