PTCL Smart TV device data-usage

Hi,

I recently got the Smart TV device / connection. THe device is connected via Ethernet to my PTCL DSL Router.

Does the data used by Smart TV count towards my monthly DSL data-cap?

Thanks

Nope.

No. PTCL charge Smart TV and DSL separately, thus data consumed by Smart TV is not summed up with DSL usage.

I asked that once to their representative and he said Yes, it will be counted in DSL data-cap. It was a time ago. Don't know if they have changed their policy now. You can confirm on 1236 helpline.
