Is it just me or PTCL phone n net is not connecting since yesterday?

#14

^ It wasn't working with me either. Have not tried it now.

Thanks ummro

PTCL dialup is not worth it, even if they paid you

Rs. 6/hour for using it.

I was connecting at 4.0 Kbps with PTCL, while with

Wol I would connect at 36-44 Kbps. And while you

were connected with PTCL, the browser couldn't even

open the Google page.

It's just simply a torturing device.

PTCL doesn't work (their dialup).

If people don't know this, they'll think this is a very good package.

I'm afraid I won't be taking it though.

#17

I would prefer unlimited zong net w/ edge suported mobile bcoz w/ edge 1 can get much better speed specialy 4downloading.Ptcl package z 299 w/out taxes +paid local col which disconects often.

#18

^ Internet does not have any tax...

Free dialup/nominal charges would be a good idea…I know of an even better idea…No/nominal connectivity charges for 131 numbers…(Atleast for the selected packages)That would be something… And there should be more packages for rural areas…

I didn't think anyone even used dial-up anymore but as far as dial-up is concerned, I like the WOL/Mobilink SMS4Net service. It gives better speed and I have, on a few ocassions, been able to download 100 MB zip files on it too...and not like PTCL which disconnects regularly...even though it is on a PTCL phone line!!!
