I downloaded this app for Android from PTCL website: http://www.ptcl.com.pk/uploads/webtv-tv6.zip and installed on my Samsung tablet (Android 4.0.4), but when I try to play any channel, it gives the following error: Error playing stream, please check network and try again!

My router shows this

It has been working on my PC using Tano for the past many months.

Is there any other setting that I need to do in my router for WiFi?

i am facing strange problem picture is freezing and flickering on all channels i am assigned total 8 mb. All line parameters are ok bb is working fine i have checked everything from exchanged to my home it was working great few days back exchange guy saying they did everything changed my port pair modem stb but issue is not resolved any idea how to fix ir

i have a 8mb package plus smart tv. my profile is of 8mb. i call ptcl to update my profile to 10mb he said we dont give extra bandwidth on smart tv, @ptclcare on twitter is saying the same thing. i was like wtf? how come u guy were given 2mb extra brandwidth i am not? when i turn on my smart tv my download speed is decrease. can some one plz help?

^^^sorry dear they are the only people who can help. if they dont upgrade your profile im sorry to say no one can...but keep complaining and threaten them that you'll cancel Smart TV if problem doesn't resolve

You said that when you turn on you smart tv your download speed is decrease. It means that you are watching the channels of smart tv through internet? I am informed that one can also watch the channels of smart tv if his/her broad band data rate is zero in standalone smart tv package. Recently Installed Smart TV. First they took it around 2 weeks to install it and now its installed but i am Facing issue of frequent disconnections.

It works and if you try to rewind or catch up TV than it disconnect and that cross dish sign starts coming. Only way this goes away is if you turn it off for like 30 mins than try and it starts to work.

Its hard to ask PTCL to troubleshoot them and most of the support people are real idiots. Like a girl today was on phone asked me if i have some other electric device near the router that can cause the Ethernet connection to stop working hmm.

What is your DSL Package + Down/Up Rate in the Modem stats?

For Example: I have 2 mb DSL package and Smart TV too so My Down Rate should be 4 Mb i.e. 2 Mb for DSL and 2 Mb for Smart Tv.

In my case for smart tv they allocated me 4 Mb. This way i can watch Smart TV on TV as well on PC/Mobile at the same time without any issues

On smart tv each channel showing cross sign why is it?

On pressing epg it connects but on pressing ant channel screen is blank with cross sign...

i have AN1020-25U modem(with usb port) and it is giving me a prob that the iptv(PCTV) works on it for 1-2 hours in a day and then suddenly stops working and the next day it's working again for 1-2 hours!.whereas iptv on the older AN1020-25(without usb port) works flawlessly!.i just want to opt for the 25U modem because it has a lot of good features! can someone help!
