PTCL EVO software interface problem

Hello! My father bought the PTCL Evo device the other day. He used it at his clinic and worked fine. When I plugged it into my computer at home, there were a few propmts and finally it told me that the device driver for the ZTE modem and the Evo software interface were installed and ready to use.

However when I double click the "EVDO Broadband PTCL" icon, there is a message that says, "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate application.

I googled it and tried to run the system file checker but it didn't do any good. Does anyone know what the problem is? Thanks in advance.

Reinstall the the software after uninstalling the first.

Re-install and restart you pc before using it.

Have u tried on some other pc instead of ur father pc @ office..?

Yes. It also works on his laptop.
