Problem while opening local drive(s)

i am facing a problem on xp,

when i go to my computer> then any drive it asks "chose the the program you want to chose to open this program" , and then i have to click on folders then that drive ,

can anyone help how to fix this problem, some people say it is due to virus, i have scanned my system with avg,avast,mal ware bites, avaira anti virus,, and it is ok , i have two PCs and facing this problem on both ,,,,, plz help .........

I am glad you got your problem fixed but it is usually caused by a virus. When you used to right click on your drive earlier, did the menu show you some Chinese/unknown characters? If it did then you have been infected by a virus. The only solution is to reformat and reinstall windows and then use an updated anti-virus to prevent reinfection.

^ nope i dont see any chinese like words (i know it usually happens with USBs) ,,,, previously i got this problem solved by scanning with Malware bites (anti malvare) ,,, i am much happy that my window is safe,,,, i didnt want to reinstall window ,,, otherwise i know it works :D
