^More consumers also means more investments in marketing, labour costs and CPEs as you mentioned. Pakistan might be a small country, but here, people even on the outskirts of major cities don't have access to these facilities. I don't care if Television/Internet is brought to me by cable, DSL, mobile phones or satellites, but it should reach me and be available to everyone in Pakistan, which is something that right now only DTH can ensure. I think it will actually cost investors more if they go with cable instead of DTH. They'll have to dig out every darn city to lay their cables. And DSL/Mobile Phones infrastructure here isn't very reliable.
I an using indian dth dish tv for two years and i am satisfied with it
I am very curious about your nick. What intention you having behind this nick?
I know this post was too old. But after 9 years now, we are finally going to see a ray of hope. As the first ever Pakistan DTH service is going to start in weeks time now. There are three companies who won the DTH service auction back in 2016. Sky Shahzad, Mag DTH and Startimes are the best services providers.
We hope their would be quality service in Pakistan too.
