I came across this picture of a car (i guess u can call it) released by toyota company

there are already many electrical appliances in pakistan and in the same way alot of electricity shortage

so i dont think its a gud idea

#3

i will rather import the most polluting car in the world ! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as in the the car with the biggest carbon footprint :P...

#4

A few days back I heard two rikshaw drivers talking to each other about a car that runs on JUST water. They were talking about Hydrogen car most probably, and their source was Geo I guess. I first thought of explaining to them that its not JUST water that you can put into the car and it will run, but then I thought who am I kidding!. Anyways, even Hydrogen cars won't be coming soon in Pakistan until the power shortage problem is solved. But maybe the compressed air car will be.

instead of importing that rickshaw i think toyota indus should start locally producing one of these here..

Toyota Prius hybrid

Locally assembling is the only way to go. Honda has to sell their hybrid civic for $46000-$50,000 in India because of higher customs duties on foreign assembled cars:

Alif Car: Made in Pakistan

http://www.tmcpk.com/vehicles_alif_car.asp

they could improve its shape, passengers would get soaked if it rains ,they should get a decent light weight body designed

#14

The Alif Car looks like its nothing more than a go-kart! I would never buy it... They could easily design a low cost 2 and 4 seater car for Pakistan, which looks reasonably decent and provides basic utility.

The compressed air car is something to look forward to. This concept can easily be used in Rikshaws…
