Partition vista without formatting

Is it possible to partition vista without formatting? i have 160Gb drive with vista installed on one drive(130 Gb) and the other one is recovery drive. i want to make atleast two partitions out of vista drive. Is partition magic the solution?

yes it is possible download EASEUS Partition Manager 3.0.

thanx and one more thing, my data in C drive will not be affected.

yes it will not be affected ....if u have 20 GB used on C atleast make partition 25-30 GB

Vista's built in disk management should be able to do this too for you, the shirink/extent volume options.

no i dont want to shrink drive, i want to split the drive.

Once you shrink a drive , where the extra space left will go ? , it should be available for partitioning.

or u can simply use gparted.... first delete all the xtra dta and free some space.... then boot wif gparted n creat partition but one which is big enough to hold all of your current data.... do not format or delete partitions just creat them in gparted...

just shrink the partition by going to control pannel and then to disk managment tab
