New Witcher 3 Patch to Expand Romance Dialogue

The love triangle between Geralt, Triss, and Yen is getting more fleshed out.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

As a result of player feedback, CD Projekt Red will add new dialogue options to further flesh out the love triangle between Geralt, Triss, and Yennefer in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Some players have criticized how this was handled, in particular the options that are available if you decide to leave Yennefer to be with Triss.

In July, CD Projekt Red acknowledged fans’ concerns about this. Now, the developer has provided even more insight into the romance changes coming to The Witcher 3 through an upcoming patch.

“We’ll be adding some additional dialogue for Triss and Yennefer in the upcoming patch due to the fan feedback,” a CD Projekt Red representative told Kotaku. "We’ve read many opinions on our forums where gamers weren’t satisfied with the way their romance choices were fleshed out, so we wanted to change that by adding some extra conversational options."

A release date for this patch has not been announced.

The Witcher 3 will expand further in October with the first of its two paid add-ons, Hearts of Stone, which adds about 10 hours of gameplay to the open-world RPG. CD Projekt Red is nearly finished with this expansion, the studio said at PAX Prime. Overall, The Witcher 3 has now sold more than 6 million copies,

Nice to see CDPR busy in fixing all the issues with the game. They’re a bit too late for this kind of patch though, as most people are done with Witcher 3 campaign by now… Oh well, these updates will be useful for future playthoughs.

So neither MGS V nor Mad Max have been cracked yet... apparently they're both using Denuvo cracks... Ugh, that's gonna take while (the chinese guys at 3DM might be releasing one soon, but their cracks usually have some kind of issue... I guess it's still better than nothing. Hopefully CPY will bring out a nice scene release soon as well.

Honestly though, neither of those games seem appealing to me... I guess once you've played masterful games like GTA V & Witcher 3, other AAA games fail to impress you.

#663

OMG ROFLMAO..:D

MGS is the BIGGEST and GREATEST series in history of Mankind, atleast in gaming terms.. since yu havent played any MGS game before, you can NEVER apreciate the millions ofplot turns and secrets and history behind each character.. The magic of MGS was characters, even someone having as much presence in a game as a green and black pixel Display pic on a watch screen , like Otacon, made you crazily attached to him..and that was the original psx 1 game.. PS2 games took it to another level ..

those reviews being not a solid 10/10 and 100% are because, all of us and those reviewers GREW up with MGS, and are used to a set level of Supreme ecxellence by konami and Hideo kojima studios..so even when some titles like revengence, which were slightly less good and had minor glitches, the extreme expectation level makes it look bad.

Since you havent played such a type of game before, you probably wont like jumping into {Phantom pain, because you havent been involved in the world of cyborg ninja and who was the Big boss..etc..also since you didnt like the helicopter dropping box as realistic , (i read somewhere in your post), you wont ever get the hilarious easter eggs and the trademark MGS humor which made these games fantastic for over 2 decades... so you should probably skip this one ..a general advice.

I'd have to disagree farhan. I tried MGSV on PC, but to be honest, it lacks the plot and story details MGS games are so famous for. Its all gameplay and no solid plotline or story details. Also, the stealth genre has been overdone to hell especially when it comes to MGS. Hitman, on the other hand, is looking up to be something very interesting and unique.

#665

@farhan_ds I'd say that's debatable... but then again, my opinion is not biased, so that's probably why.

@jDk Although i haven't played it yet, i think the game is fun but lacks attraction value. It's like Christina Ricci... hot figure, but you're gonna need to put a bag on her head to get intimate. :P

I'm probably gonna try it anyway, cause why the hell not? Even if i don't like it, it'll just be waste of 20 GBs.

#666

So apparently the Chinese crack will be out tomorrow.

While not scene, I'll update you guys on the releases here in case if you're interested.

#667

Farhan would only play this game for this purpose alone

^ Actually, that is a perfectly good reason to play a game. :P

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Coming to PC

Release date and pricing details revealed for cult-classic RPG.

Dragon’s Dogma
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be release for PCs on January 1, 2016, Capcom has announced.

Originally a re-release and expansion rolled into one for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Dragon’s Dogma, Dark Arisen features an extra region called the Bitterblack Isle, a new quest line, unique abilities, fresh monsters, and a number of other additions.

The PC version is described as offering “increased fidelity” in relation to graphics, as well as "full Steam platform support with Achievements and the ability to play using both Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers. The traditional mouse and keyboard setup is also supported.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be available for $29.99 (£24.99) on Steam and also on-disc at retailers.

One of the major downsides of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is that it, very unfortunately, doesn’t feature the outstanding title theme from the original release. It is unclear whether Capcom has remedied this very serious issue for the PC version.

In January 2015, Capcom announced Dragon’s Dogma Online, a new free-to-play version entry in the series that will be supported by microtransactions. Although it is expected for release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC, it is currently Japan-exclusive.

The Dragon’s Dogma Online development team includes Ace Attorney veteran Minae Matsukawa, who is producing the title, while Resident Evil developer Hiroyuki Kobayashi is working on the game as its executive producer.

So apparently the yellow people have released their crack: https://www.reddit.com/r/TPPcrack/

Apparently it only works with Win 7... Typical flawed release from a P2P group...

I'm gonna wait a little while longer, at least until a proper crack is out.

If you're running Win 7 & can't wait any longer, then feel free to try out the mentioned crack at your own risk. Don't blame me if you get any viruses or anything like that.

#673

seriously you guys..

NEVER EVER MAKE FUN OF BATMAN OR METAL GEAR SOLID.. NEVEERR...

jdk, MGS was a console special, so playing on a kb mouse is as good experience as playing Quake 3arena on a console with a joypad...

secondly, again saying, this game is not all of a sudden pick em up from MGS 5, then play through it fast and calling it crap due to controls and plot misunderstandings. this game is soo huge in its universe, that there have been PHD and Post Doctoral Thesis done on this game alone.. Even the creator himself, hideo kojima claimed he gets lost in its universe and thus long development times.

from 1987 to 2015, a game has inspired a universe,, there has to be a reason for it getting 90+ in EVERY single release, MGS2 getting 100 and 10/10 in many scores, etc.its not only me, i havent even played sons of liberty or revengance..thats millions of people all over the globe.

as for stealth.. ROFLMAO.. when there was no hitman, no lara, no theif, no assasins creed, not tekken, not street fighter 3, not even mario 64, there was a king of the world in stealth, the Grand daddy of all stealth, Solid Snake himself. Solid snake, gave birth to stealth, when there wasnt event a word for it.. they used to call it espionage. . which latter became stealth, which latter got its genre name, which latter came to be agent 47 or whatever aj kal k bache play with..

as for the Gifs, the game even has reasons for her dress code.. when you will complete it, you will get to know.. In interview about that, hideo clearly stated that this has a definite reason, and all sexist gamers (you people :p) will be ashamed of themselves when they find out why after playing the game..

PS: MGS isnt the greatest game ever, nor am i a fan boy.. i have casually played it, but this is indeed epic most. not me, a billion people say the same.. so reconsider your opinions, which you are all fully entitled to, in the light of your lack of experience and vision , about the beginning and the end of the stories in MGS.

Oye doctor dramay na kar Star Plus walay

I played MGS on a PS4 controller connected wirelessly to my PC via a Bluetooth Dongle. Nowadays I play most 3rd person games (including Witcher 3) solely on controller. My wrists have begun to ache if I game on keyboard for too long, so I've stopped using KB+M wherever I can :P

I've played the original MGS on PlayStation back in 1998, plus MGS 2 on PC back in 2003. After that, haven't bothered with the series though, as other games had filled in the void left by the MGS games. I was looking forward to playing this one, given that I already owned Ground Zeroes on steam. But sadly that game bored me to tears with its stupid tape recording #$%#. I was expecting more ala codec conversations and complex plot, but this is not the case this time around.

TL;DR

P.S. MGS & Batman are both overrated. There i said it. :P

#676

Oh and i know the bullsh!t reason why she dresses like that, and it is the lamest reason anyone could come up with to defend that controversy. The real reason why Kojima made her look like a pornstar is because he wanted more cosplays & figurines. It was both a economical & perverted decision. He said so himself originally, but when he saw the backlash from the feminist community, he immediately decided to come up with a "reasoning" behind it.

Here's an article about his official statement: http://www.polygon.com/2013/9/4/4693704/metal-gear-solid-5-characters-more-erotic-encourage-cosplay-hideo-kojima

As you can see, it was in September 2013 (2 years ago). I would bet my ass, at that point Quiet's character did NOT had that "sad" backstory attached, and she was not a plant. All that was added later to cover up the real reasoning. You may not believe it because you're clearly a fanboy (denying doesn't work), but it's the cold hard truth.

I couldn't help myself from clarifying the truth, certainly not after YOU called US sexist because we realize that her character is oversexualised.

Cheers!

#677

So finally a proper release is out (Still no scene though... but not gonna wait any longer, need to try this sh!t so i can criticize it properly :P).

I've initiated download. Will let you know my honest comments on it after playing it for a while. B)

#678

Farhan take a good look at this in-game clip and tell me if you still think the game isn't sexist...

Sorry to drag the thing, but i say it as i see it...

Meh... Far Cry is starting to get stale. -_-
