GPS works everywhere in this world.

Although the maps have not been built but still google maps are there. With a gps set you can see exactly where you are. It will use up EDGE or GPRS data to download the maps

#7

if your mobile support the gps try the google map software

open your mobile browser type this address

www.google.com/gmm

its dictate your mobile then open the page to download google map software link.

download the software and enjoy

this software works for all mobile phones

So, only GPRS/EDGE cost of using mobile map over GPS?

GPS works fine in Pakistan, i got it tested with Blackberry 8310 from T&T....

Good thing is that google maps are append-able for Pakistan, hence we may get detail information about streets and roads, specifically of big cities. This information will grow as people will add info in google maps...

When it comes to GPS phone, there are lot many GPS enabled phones available in the market.

And look at the bottom left side panel, look for 'Advance features', check the 'GPS Navigation' checkbox, and you will get the results. At this moment there are 10 of them.

Thanx for sharing this info bro. I successfully tried it on Nokia E65 over mobilink wap.

Only one problem; when I zoom in, my actual position is about half kilometer away from the pointed position. Why is this difference?
