Need suggestion for PSU

hello guys, i am planing to buy a cheaper branded PSU for my system. my specs are

C2D 2.2 ghz E4500

DP35DPM

XFX 8600 GT 512mb

WD 500 GB + WD 160 GB

1+1 GB kingston ram

Asus DVD Writer

I also have the plan to upgrade for C2Q , 8 GB ram and some better GPU may be some 9800 but not now.

currently i am running with a Chinese PSU which cant be trusted any more. The PSU i m most interested is COOLER MASTER 460 WATTS EXTREME POWER (RS-460-PCAP-A3) so what do you guys suggest.

I also visited dubai plaza where i found PSU pulled out from some branded systems. the price of 400W was 700 rs

those from the branded one would be the most trustworthy.

Is it(400W) suitable for my future needs, as i mentioned i have a plane to upgrade it in future.

what do you guys suggest about this PSU

CoolerMaster is good but get 500 or 600 W atleast. 600 W much preferred.

I am running all of below at 420 W:

Intel Dual Core 2180 2.0 GHZ

Asus P5KPL-VM (Intel G31)

Kingston DDR II 800 Mhz 1 + 1 GB (Dual channel)

Geforce 9600 GTX 512 MB (Inno3D iChill series OC)

320 GB SATA II + 10 GB IDE HDD (for swap file)

Go for what Abbas suggested if you're a gamer and plan to upgrade to more power hungry cards in the future. For all current cards, without SLI, a 460 cooler master will serve you well enough with normal hardware such as 3 HDDs, 1 Optical Media drive, a normal VGA card such as 9600GT, Core2Duo or any of the recent processors etc.

Now just simply tell me in yes or no please.

Would a 460 watt PSU work with 9800 or 8800 a C2Q, 8 gb 3 HDDs and 1 optical drive?

cus i ll never upgrade this PC beyond this limit. if ever i ll need some more extra from this i ll buy a complete new PC with some latest specs.

go for coolermaster and buy which ever u can... the bigger the better so it depends on ur budget....
