have a look at my new "Modified Sine Wave Inverter (SMPS) using PIC16F628A with output voltage regulation"

Input Voltage: 10 - 14.5v DC

Output Voltage: 220V

Frequency: 50Hz

Power: 300W

nice. a quick question, which diode is suitable for connecting with relay coil to prevent voltage spikes? (part no. for reference in college road)

You can use 1N4004 or 1N4007 silicon diode.

A diode used with a relay coil is commonly known as Free Wheeling diode.

to be more precise whats ur Relay Specification?

12V, 20A automotive application

20A is for the contactor u didn’t mention anything related to coil impedance etc any ways

For snubber ckt the best option is 1N4007 to absorb the Inductive kicks generated by the Relay coil

Peak Reverse Voltage for 1N4004 = 400V

Peak Reverse Voltage for 1N4007 = 1000V
