hidell, for video conferencing you need to transfer data,
both incoming and outgoing, at high speeds. While your
download (incoming) speed has been increased to 4MB,
your upload (outgoing) speed is still stuck at 0.30Mb/s.
PTCL broadband users, as opposed to Maxcom, have
upload speeds set at 0.80Mb/s, nearly 3 times greater!
It's like folks sitting abroad can throw snowballs at you
12 times as fast, as you are able to.
Moreover, your pings are more than twice as bad as
mine (it's the number at the bottom). That means that
your data struggles to get to you. That is not good for
video conferencing or playing games online, where you
need real-time information.
I would email support at Maxcom, asking them to imme-
diately increase your upload speed (they can and have
done it for folks, who have pressed them) and also notify
them of your ping issue. At 4MB speeds if you can't have
a ball with Skype, then that is a crying shame!
