Logos - Out of the box thinking

Amazon Logo

amazon-logo.jpg

This famous logo is extremely clean and simple but this arrow might not look like more than a smile to you. Before, coming to any conclusions, the concept behind this…it says that amazon.com has everything from a to z and it also represents the smile brought to the customer’s face.

FedEx Logo

You would say you have seen it thousand times but notice an arrow formed between the letters “E” and “X” conveying speed, direction and reliability of this amazing courier service.

NorthWest Old Logo

The logo reflected a clever way of splitting the alphabets, N and W (north west) along with a location pointed to by the red triangle in the upper left corner. The redesign lost the charm of the original.

Toblerone Logo

One of our favorite chocolates…yummy!! But have we ever noticed the brilliant logo while enjoying our bar. You must be thinking what is there to find out as it clearly shows the Swiss Alps? Toblerone originated in Bern, Switzerland – A city whose name is rumored to mean, “City of bears”. When you look at it again you will find a bear in the logo.

Mosleep Logo

You will notice here how cleverly designer have integrated a bed with the letter “M” to come up with a logo for an organization of doctor’s dealing with sleep issues.

London Museum:

The logo, at first glance, looks like a bunch of colored/transparent shapes on top of each other. But actually each shape is the shape of what London looked like once. The entire logo represents the evolution of the land of London through time.

Did you copied this from somewhere? I mean i have read a blog post somewhere about these logos already, you should give the source too :P

Yes, off course i copied it.

There are so many sites who tells about logos and their meanings. I liked it and shared it here.

There were wordings like "Let me tell you the secret" or "I always wonder" etc. I changed those wording so it does not look like that its my own discoveries.

Just google it and you will find so many results.

p.s. Have I done something wrong by copying it from somewhere and posting it. I mean is it against the RULES of WiredPakistan ?

Its not wrong but you should always give credit to the original author, and if a blog comes under creative commons then you really should :)

First four was picked from one site, there were like 20+ logos, I shared only which appealed me more, last two from another site.

Nice share, however I had already read about these somewhere else online.

Another Logo I want to introduce, can someone tell me what is so special about this Logo below? (Open your mind a bit and you will find the hidden message.. It's quite shocking though :P )

^^Its quite a controversial logo of London Olympics. Some peopel say there is a word "Zion” in the logo which is a biblical tenure for Jerusalem. Iran thinks it is racist. Others who disagree says 2.0.1.2 is there in the logo as its a 2012 Olymics Logo.

Zoiz??? :D

Ordinary logos really. You draw doodles for a big company and people will call them unique.

^ We are not talking about the uniqueness here, but the creativity. Logos are well thought and have meanings which are explained in the first post.

Amazon logo is the best I guess as they really want to say they have everything A to Z.

Some people believe the London Olympics Logo symbolizes a male and a female.. Can you make it out?
In February 2011, Iran complained that the logo appeared to spell out the word “Zion” and threatened to boycott the Olympics

x2

I gues you guys would never find the real meaning behind the London 2012 Olympics logo. Here is a direct quote from Wikipedia,
The launch of the London 2012 brand in 2007 was met with widespread public derision in the UK, being called anywhere from a colossal waste of £400,000 to a pornographic representation of the character Lisa Simpson.
Open up you imaginative skills now :P

^ Lols.

I posted the logos to pump up the creative skills not the imaginative ones. :)

Well this one is creative as well. Gives us the right meaning of what the 2012 Olympics mean :D
