Laptop Question

Guys as there are many laptops available in the market and in specification for every laptop one Operating system is specified like WinXP, Vista, Dos etc.

So my question is when DOS is specified what does it mean can't we install anyother OS?

Secondly the price thing for laptop is very confusing like just luk at folowing two configs:

1. HP 6720S: INTEL CORE DUO 2.0GHZ, 1GB, 250GB, DVDRW, 15.4" TB, LAN, MODEM, WIFI, BT, DOS

It's For Rs.47500

2. ASUS A6F: INTEL DUAL CORE 1.8GHZ, 512MB, 80GB , COMBO, 15.4",LAN, MODEM, CAM

Its for Rs.46500

Why there is so much of Configuration difference while the prices are quite same.

DOS means there is no Operating system installed and YES u can install any windows on it either XP or Vista versions.Just buy any windows cd from shop and install windows :)

Price difference is due to different brand makers and their own quality and stuff levels

P.S, Ive original windows XP Pro.This is a Geniune CD which I got from my friend in USA.IF u r interested in buying u can PM Me
