IP Problem

#1

guys i have a weird problem

right now i m usin NTCs dial up

but when ever i check my ip i get a wateen ip

and the ip also changes when i connect and disconnect again

but remains a wateen ip

what cud be the problem?

#2

post the ip here plz

and its possible that wateen and ntc dialup has the same or similar ip range

#3

the ip am gettin right now is 58.27.158.52

but it will change when i disconnect and connect again

no NTCs ip range is like 203.31.xxx.xxx

and this is too diffrent from wateens

#4

looks like wateen doesn't wants to leave you

peecha nahi chhorey ga

btw its not a big prob leave it as it is

it can sometimes happen

#5

just checked with my bros laptop he is gettin NTCs ips

i for some reason am still gettin wateens ip

when i do a trace route

the route first goes to 2 or 3 wateen server than routes to NTCs servers

this is really weird

yeah thats what i find weird

i get an ntc ip sometimes but its more a 1 in a 100 type thing

like i have disconnected 20 times and out of that only twice have i got an NTC ip

which means there probably isnt a problem with my computer

but still this is weird

i dont even have the cpe anymore i returned

i have nothin in my home from wateen or is related to wateen

and yes i have reset my whole home network

i even reinstalled linux but still the same problem

but now the odds are more like 50 in a hundred

coz i have disconnected 25 out of which i got an NTC ip 10 times

but unluckily now i have a wateen ip

#11

problem solved just called NTC

i was told that NTC is leasin ips and bandwidth from wateen

thats why the trace routes were to wateen servers first

i was so relieved when i was told this

at first i thought wateen had installed some crap ware in my computer or somethin
