Intel VS. AMD

#1

personally i would go starkers before ever making a mistake of buying an intel based system again

amd though have heating issues performs as it should

i have noticed that intel own manufactured motherboards causes a lot of problemssss. and intel is much beter of with boards of other componies reagardless of the chipset.

one thing i have also noticed with intel is when they are new ( dabbay sey niklay howay ) they perform like a dancing veela but after a week there speed go asstray.

in other words i love amd even though they are a bit more veareee

#2

I've used both and honestly never had a problem with either!

#3

i never trust intel motherboards all mobos that i have are of either Asus or MSI

the only intel mobo i have is in my laptop

#4

and wath about technologies

p4 pipeline was smaller than p3 but amd pipe line are bigger then intels since its Duron dayss (p2 comparing )

amd had 64 bit since atleast 2 years before intel launched its 64 bits processor

amd launced dualcore in pc 6 months (atlest) ahead of intel

amd bench mark of a year before were comparing amd processors with ddr ram with intel processor with ddr2 ( see the buss differnece of rams )

#5

I have always purchased Intel Mobos and they rock!

yeah try hokin up them with different manufacterer’s ram modules

then ull see how uncompatible intel mobos are

#7

back when AMD was the king performance wise i used to despise intel

and everyone who used their processor but now since intel has cleaned up its act

i feel unbiased now towards the 2

lol I am using Crosair and kingston ram in my old pc and on my new pc i am using Crosair ram without any problem.

On my laptop i am running Crosair Ram and some US company ram and both are running fine on Intel Mobo.

Intel Rocks!

then ur buss speed of boths ram must be same

i am usin three ram modules on my amd

1. 256mb 333bus

2. 512mb 400bus

3. 1gb 400bus

i tried to to install 128mb 333 bus and 256 400 bus to my friends intel board and chip it just gave beeps didnt even open

Nope, Intel mobos uses the lowest Buss Speed dude if you’re ram bus speed is different.

yes that is true

in fact almost all mobos clock ram down to the lowest bus speed

#14

huh found 1, intel mobos aint gud with overclocking........... LOL

[/quote]

yeah that is true but even with AMD mobos i dont think overclocking is possible

usualy only third party mobos allow over clocking

#16

man there aint such thin as amd mobos they only design chips after merging with ATI

but nVidia chips are the best

oops made a mistake

so yeah amd doesnt make mobos

all of them are third party right?

#18

right they make chips now after merging with ATI before that only nVidia chips and Via chips were avilable 4 amd procossors

#19

yaar this debut is like ferrai vs. porsche

can go on 4 ever

#20

Intel Mobos are not designed for overclocking and much more cheaper then good overclocking boards.
