I want to learn c++

sir mai c++ programming sikhna chahta hu .Lahore mai koi institute sikhata ho to plz mje bta den.

If you care to step outside the house for once, you will find a computer programming (C/C++, .NET etc) training institute on almost every street corner of Lahore.

But first try learning online. Search google for online resources and tutorials.

If you have to ask, than it means that you are a hobbyist without proper background especially in advanced mathematics and i am afraid C++ is not HTML, that can be learned easily without any related advanced computer science knowledge. My advice would be to join a proper 2-3 year certification course in a proper institute.

thanks for replying.sir my parents can not afford the expences of bs cs.i really want to learn c++ without taking part in degree programmes.i passed FSc this year and want to learn programming.

i dont think so is their any good institute working on it... But you can do it by your self... take a book and solve the problems on facebook and on other forums... this will make your programming better...

@Salman, may i ask you why C++? Even in the beginning, CS students are taught less difficult language like pascal/basic or python so that they can grasp the concept of programming.

And don't waste your money on institute. Most of them will show less interest in teaching you and more in tuition fee.

If you are comfortable and are able to grasp Video Tutorial in english language, i would recommend many online sites that provide Video contents to learn them.

https://www.khanacademy.org/cs

https://www.udacity.com/

http://www.learnpython.org/

I'll suggest to first start with C and when you have acquired all basic knolwedge and understanding of a programming language then move to C++.

As mentioned by cutealien, @Salman I also recommend you to learn python. Why ? Because python is relatively easy, more powerful and most of the Universities and Colleges around the globe teach python first instead of C/C++. You can find variety of material online. Take Intro to computer Science course from Udactiy. It is just 7 week course and its free.

Any reason why you would want to go with C++????

Would agree with @SupMA5TER about online tutorial, heck there are tons of videos. If you know google, you can find them. Also would agree with @cutealien, don't go for a course if you want to *really* learn it.

My general advice would be (for learning any language is) to skip all courses/tutorials initially. Pick up example codes of things that "interest you" the most, read the code, google (keywords) along your way and try to reproduce it.

FAST starts C++ from day one.

Then later you go to C, ASP.NET and Java.

and if you take elective courses , you can also learn PHP, CSS, HTML, XML and some other languages.
