HP LED Resolution Problem

#1

Guys I have just bought a 27" HP LED model zr2740w. On the website its resolution was said to be 2160x1440 but when I played it with my PC the maximum(and also recomended) resolution it shows is 1280x720. I have connected it through DVI-D cable because it has two input ports i.e DVI-D and Display port. Can you please tell help me in this regard.

it should have hdmi.. connect with hdmi.

update your drive.. or reinstall your driver.

No this model does not have an hdmi port. Can an hdmi to DVI converter be used?

    • check your Display/ Graphic card properties/ features. Its possible that your card doesnt support that resolution.
    • and as farhan said, update your display drivers.

I am using intel hd 4600 grphics. I think it doesn't support the resolution. Will try it on the other pc in which I have a gtx 970.

The problem is solved. The LED works fine with my gtx 970.
