How can one load subtitles in Klite mega codec pack?
^ It is a codec pack, it installs all its codecs in media player classic, whenever you play a movie, the subtitle files will also be played with it. the filename of the movie & subtitle file has to be same (for e.g kiss.avi & kiss.srt), otherwise play a movie, & then drag & drop the subtitle file on the player, it will start playing the subtitles.
If you have used Klite, then do you install ffdshow as well?
Cuz I didn't, does that make any difference?
Also which Video Decoding tools do you use in klite (SubTitles incl)?
I use the default settings, except i cancel the file associations. FFDSHOW is automatically installed with it.
Never installed it without FFDSHOW, so not sure about differences.
How can you load .srt files?
^by default the player searches for it (for name .srt or .sub) in the same folder where the video file(being played) exists. or you can change it while playback or you can change it within the ffdshow configuration.[quote=", post:, topic:"]
ffdshow is used to display the subtitles as well as is used as decoder and encoder. and you probably will not be able to play many of the videos that were supported by the ffdshow.
Make sure that in Media Player Classic:
View > Options > Output > then Carefully Watch this Section and its options.
Read the Last Lines of "OUTPUT" section .
