How to copy software setup?

hello respected seniors and members,

How to copy or retrieve that software WHOLE SETUP which is installed in PC but its setup is run through CD or DVD .

EX :- if any company representative came at your office for some software installation , he installed that software from cd or dvd in PC, and took CD or DVD with him.

then is it possible to retrieve that software setup or ANY SECRET WAY TO COPY THAT SOFTWARE IN PC WITHOUT KNOWledge COMPANY PERsonal..

Steal the CD/DVD from his room/cabinet/bag? :confused:

no i am asking not to steal but is there any way to retrieve that software ?

coz if anyone format PC then again he/she has to call vendor for installation,, thats why i am asking

You could take the following steps in future to avoid calling the representative again.

Install Ashampoo Uninstallation Suite

Before the person comes for installation (Even three to four hours prior will be OK), run the save system configuration from the suite. (it takes a couple of minutes only)

After that you may do whatever you need to do with computer(But dont install anything new). The configuration is saved and even by restarting you will not lose it.

When the person comes and installs the software and goes away, you should run the installed App at least one time, and then close it and run the suite again. This time use Compare configuration option. After that instruct the suite to create installation files.

That should create a complete installation package for that software.

but if its just matter of not calling installation guy again you can use ghost and image that hard drive or partition that is best way.
