How to block android apps from accessing internet?

I am new to this android things. I have installed just 7 apps most of them are games. These apps are using huge amount of internet data. Within 24 hours I have paid Rs 300 to warid for internet usage by these apps. I disabled GPS but still apps are able to access internet and my internet bill is rising. How to block internet access for these apps?

I installed "Task Manager" app last night to kill unwanted apps or processes ruining in back end. It's showing "maps", "gmail", "Ninja chickens", "yahoo mail" running in background. i killed all the processes and checked after two minutes and all these apps were again in the running apps list. How to fix this?

GPS has nothing to do with Internet access of installed apps.

Simply disable Data or Packet Data from

Setting - Wireless - Mobile Network

Don't confuse GPS with GPRS/EDGE.

Builtin taskmanger can be accessed by long pressing the home button.

If nothing works, go to airplane mode and play the games.
