How is DANY G5 Dual Core Tablet PC?

Has anyone bought this tablet "DANY G5 Dual Core Tablet PC? My friend is going to buy a tablet phone soon so he need suggestions. He has a budget of maximum 13000.

Performance is amazingly good for a Dual Core SoC (No lag, No crashes) but don't expect much from Screen & Camera (The screen looks a little squeezed, and the camera is below average). Its definitely better than China tablets in this price range, as it also offers Dual-SIM function.

You can read my review of G5 in a couple of days at PP.

Thanks.

DANY is not a good brand IMO. My prior experiences with their products (computer peripherals mostly) have been mostly negative. I wouldn't recommend going for them unless you didn't had a choice at all.

Tell your friend to raise his budget a bit and go for the QMobile QTab Q300 for 15k instead (you'll probably find it for a little lesser if you look at the right places).

It has some better features such as a larger 7.0" display with a higher resolution of 1024x600 suitable for TABs unlike the smaller 6.5" display with a phone-y resolution of 800x480 of the DANY tab)

It also has better resale value.

In the end, this is just my opinion. You're free to make your own mind!

Any experience with QMobile QTab Q300?

Thanks...

Nope. It was just released last month...

But according to the user comments at whatmobile, it seems pretty solid.

You can read the comments here: http://www.whatmobile.com.pk/Qmobile_Tablet-QTab-Q300

Also, one of them is offering to answer any questions regarding the phone, so perhaps you can call him and ask whatever you need to know.

Thanks, but I have also read very good comments about DANY Tablet on some websites but this looks more solid.

Go for QTab only if has an IPS panel.

Thank you. Any other tablet in this price range do you want to recommend?

If you're looking for the 15k range...

Nexus 7 is the way to go. The only chinese tablet I'd recommend is the Ramos with its new clover trail tablets and their upcoming baytrail ones. Those don't seem to have hit Pakistan tho.

EDIT: Q-Mobile is just making fools out of us Pakistanis. That tablet for 15k is meh.

Even westerners can offer better deals.

Further, this is what chinese companies are offering in other places: http://www.intomobile.com/2013/11/29/wonder-china-gionee-elife-e7-25ghz-snapdragon-800-cpu-3gb-ram-and-16mp-camera/

And here, qmobile is shitting us. The Z4 makes me lol everytime I take a look at it. Nexus 5 is ten times better at same price.

Seriously, these chinese devices in Pakistan are overrated.

^ Agreed, nothing beats Nexus 7 in this price range.
