With the new addition, my HDD stack is going to exceed

1 Terabyte, with 6 discs in total. I have a 300W power

supply unit right now.

Do you suppose I need an upgrade for the PSU, or can it

pull along ?.

That depends on your system specs. What else are you hiding under the hood apart from those 6 HDDs?

I would advise, if it is sought, to reduce the number of HDDs but maintaining the capacity. It will reduce the system temperature, system weight (more HDDs = heavier system), HDD temperatures, power consumption and the chances of prospective disk failures.
