GREE Air Conditioner

i have 'GREE' Split Air conditioner 1.5 ton installed last summer, and i have connected Digital Voltmeter and Analog Ampere meter for AC board, I have observed that it takes more current in day time. it takes nearly 8 to 9A current in night at 215v to 225V while 14A current at day time at same voltage level.

is it problem with AC or power line or any other.

What is the rated current (mentioned on the label) of this product ?

The difference is too much really, sure a problem with AC but probably not with your particular unit. To me, it seems a design problem.

At same voltage the current should be almost same (I use "almost" because at higher ambient temperatures, the compressor has to do more work)

cooling power input=1900W

cooling rated input-2700W

only these power rating are written on out door unit of AC

Ampere rating is not written
