Fast walking after meal?

People say that fast walking just after eating meal is not good for indigestion system. Is it true?

if you are really after loosing weight then walking after a meal is of no use. its not that gud too. let the food settle a bit and then start walking. And for weight loss its advisable to walk empty stomach.

No, it’s patently untrue. Look through the archives of http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/ for a lot of evidence on health.

People don’t turn into wolves during the full moon either, and yes, you can swim without drowning on a full stomach as well.

I don't find walking after meal weird. In my opinion it helps to digest the meal. Although, walking empty stomach is a good practice too. One can reduce weight this way.

Brisk walk after a meal for weight loss? Not a good idea. Digestion is a hard process. The least your body wants after a meal is a brisk walk. A light limited time walk, however, supposedly being more beneficial than sitting (sitting compresses your stomach) is somewhat subject of a scientific debate.

If you want to lose weight, try cutting sweet stuff first and walk before you eat. If you intend to walk more than 30 mins, never do it empty stomach in the morning (your body will sacrifice a lot of muscle rather than fat). At end of the day, fat loss is more about eating slightly less than exercising a lot.

Dont walk fast just after the meal, it will be dangerous !
