Does the length of ADSL cable Matters?

What if myCable from The Splitter of Internet to my ADSL modem is too long? (Around 50 Meter )

Does it effect any kind of disturbance or Attenuation problem?.

My connection is pathetic most of the times.

I don't know if it will cause problem or not but you don't need splitter to connect to ADSL modem, it's only required for the telephone line so your line isn't dropped when phone is picked up. Modem can be connected directly to the main wire.

Wires and cables are not perfect. They weaken the signal and add noise, and this can be significant depending on the quality of your cable. So you should ALWAYS strive to keep cables as short as possible. If you don't absolutely need a 50 meter cable, then get a shorter one.

It also depend on the quality of wire. Most of the cable dealers sell aluminum wires rather than copper ones. 50 meters is OK for a good copper wire.

difference btw copper wire and aluminum wire please? how to differenciate

Try using magnet.

noise in signals is directly proportional to length/distance.

However, in ur case, there shall be no visible difference.
