Do you know about internet megaphone?

I recently came across Internet Megaphone tool used by a the pro-israeli community to spread their propaganda.

This tool has people working at the back-end who search for news and articles that the pro-Israeli community can add 'their Opinion' to. The tool debuted during the Israel-Lebanon war in July the previous year.

This is how the pro-Israeli comments that you see rush to the forums like digg and other polling sites so as to digg or positively vote stories that are to their likes and to bury or negatively vote the ones that they don't consider to be good.

giyus.org is the site behind this tool

wikipedia article about it:

As we have very poor representation on the internet forums like digg and others and as the giyus.org correctly says that nowadays wars are won by public opinion can we make something like this and make use of our community to make the suggestions and choose the good ones by vote? Can some software developer devote some of his time to such a project?

Old news. Read here.

To counter it, the best thing to do is to download the software and instead of voting for Israel, vote against Israel. Use their tool to work against them.

Yup. Thats a good way to tackle the situation. Unless you can make a Porgamme like that for you own purpose. Its not that difficult, but really effective.

BEST ADVICE :)

When you click on "Vote now," it'll get logged as a vote for whatever they've posted instead of taking you to the page whre you can vote either way.
