Do any of the broadband providers charge on a pre-paid system?

I'm tired of my local cable operator's shared internet access, and want to take the plunge into Wireless Broadband that's currently offered.

I have been testing a relative's Wateen CPE for a few weeks and like its speed. But I never get full signal strength in my area. However, Wateen will charge you its monthly rate consecutively whether you use the service or not.

Can anyone tell me if any of the current broadband providers work on a prepaid system? Kind of like how the mobile carriers do.

For example..........if I prepay for the month of August, I do not want to get billed or be given any penalty if I do not recharge again for a few months.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Wateen is charging Rs. 917 (all inclusive) for the 5GB package with a speed of 1Mbps.

You may try linkdotnet DSL. They et their fees through Meezan bank and you can pay fees for more than one month also.

You may have option to call 042-111600111 and tell them that you want to block your DSL for the next month and they will block it.

^Experienced it myself.

Thanks for the info Imran.
