hi.. i hav an XFX nvidia 8600gt ddr2 512mb pci express card....but in dx10, display properties it is showing as 757mb...

in dx10.....Approx. Total Memory: 757Mb

in display properties....Total availabe graphics Memory 767mb

Dedicated video memory 512mb

system video memory 0mb

shared system memory 255mb

when i run system requirements lab to test whether my system run particular game or software...after analysis it also shows graphics memory of 757mb...

if you are using window vista then its normal coz vista Drmatically add 256/512mb memory in your gpu. actually vista need more memory of gpu then the other OS so the OS and Game know that GPU has 1x or 2x more memory than normal .

calm down ;) it is normal :D ur card has only 512mb memory . btw i think if u reinstall your old driver (default driver) than may be u'v seen 512mb in directx properties :/
