Best instant messenger for linux

I'm going to be using Ubuntu solely for the next 7-10 days. I've used Pidgin and am currently installing Kopete. Wanted to know what/if other (better...) IM options are available for linux.

I also use voice chat from time to time so that'd be a big plus.

I have compared pidgin and mirinda and mirinda seems better. never tries this kopete thing

I didn't like Kopete much. Its unintuitive and confusing. Comparatively Pidgin is simpler, has a cleaner interface. I do feel the lack of features and functionality, e.g. voice chat etc. However Pidgin does come with plugins so am playing around with it to see what it can do!
