Are adult websites banned in Pakistan?

#1

I don't know if its the right place to ask this question, but today I was just trying to access some of the Adult sites.. and i was getting this DNS block message on all sites related to adult material?

This domain is blocked. This site was categorized in: Adult Themes

So i was wondering are they blocked in Pakistan?

#2

Not at all. may be a fraction of 1% are blocked.

#3

ah.. i don't know i sometimes randomly get the "blocked DNS" error , but it goes away when i restart my modem.

#5

LOL.. i am getting the above message

#6

I am assuming you are using opendns.com DNS. Maybe they are blocking this website. Can't confirm at the moment as I am at work.

BTW shouldn't you be ashamed of yourself? I don't belong to the moral police but if you are doing some wrong deeds, you should at least not tell everyone that you are doing it.

#7

mentioned site is opening without any problem. somebody is messing with your computer settings and filtering porn sites.

#8

yeah.. thats why i am telling that when i restart my modem this goes away.. and again when i restart my modem like after 2-3 restarts it comes back again? lol

and the funny thing is why there is "Allah" written there? =/

#9

@saaron. I don't know about openDNS.com is this in the modem?

and about that moral thingy I am just curious why it isn't opening because the site which I opened earlier isn't a porn site.. but it had some adult material, I uploaded this picture just for reference. Any site with anything related to explicit material is not opening (whether its porn of just some random jokes website).

and everyone opens adult sites every once in a while. and i really don't any other place to ask this question.

BTW.. I am just asking a question. I am not doing BAD deeds...

i think bad deeds should be like taking bribes, molesting kids, littering country, back biting, lying etc.

You must understand why you see that message. What happens is that people register PTCL dynamic IP addresses on open DNS's network then block porn and other #$%# on that IP. The retards don't know they will be assigned a different IP the next time they connect and that PTCL is not assigning static IP addressees.

Who gets effected by this are other users using open DNS when they get assigned that specific IP, what you must do at this point is mail open DNS and tell them of the issue that they need to stop registering PTCL's IP addresses to accounts.

what is your isp?

check your internet settings.

I can understand your lust. ;) Instead of advising him not to do this kid, you are justifying the actual problem.

''That's what I'm here for bro''. That's your sentence.

Atleast one Good user of Internet in Pakistan. From How long are you watching it? ;)

Someone has registered at opendns and has put a ip in there. after modem restart you are using that ip… make sense?

Don't ask such questions here, because instead of getting solution, you'll get molvi types like neoclue judging your motives and giving unwanted advice.

Are you using some form of ‘cable’ net?

Your admin is using open dns to block access to adult sites.
