Any Laptop Company Which Directly Ships to Pakistan

I am looking for a laptop company which ships directly to Pkaistan, is there any? I see that the rates on their websites are way lower than the market rates, if they offer you free shipping, it would be a great treat.

Thanks

what is your budget, uses for the machine?

Maybe the members here can help you buy a laptop from here which is within your budget and to your liking..

Those rates are for United States of America. Add the shipping cost and profit of dealer/importer and you’ll get pretty much close to the rate which is available in Pakistani market.

I don’t think so any of them would do that to Pakistan, the third world country.

in 55 k...you can manage a nice core i5 laptop here with 6 gb ram and 500 gb harddisk,

what are your uses for the machine, office, gaming?????

I would suggest you buy one with local warranty so the machine can be fixed quickly if any problems arise in the future.

there are many website like these here to check the market rates:

Thanks for the guide, I am narrowing my criterion even more

  • I don't need a gaming laptop, thus don't need a dedicated graphics card.
  • I need portability with my laptop, so does not require screen bigger than 14''.
  • I need good battery timing.
  • 4 GB of minimum RAM
  • Last but not least, I need durability!

Please search the forum there is a thread for local online companies.

The most durable laptops according to research are Asus, Sony and Toshiba.

you can find many choices here, dont forget to bargain when you go to market.

HP Probook 4530S. Under 50K.

IMO, IBM notebooks last long. After them, Dell. Have not used Sony since they cost a lot.

Bhai free shipping ?? tu bht mushkil haye :s.. Ap international waranty ky sath lay lu :D

you can also buy laptops, mobiles, appliances at discounted prices at shopper.pk

Buying from Local Market is the best option. Unless you are having 50 % discount on some online shop even in that case you are not sure what may the catch be!

The Local shopkeepers know the people who know the official company people so its best to get from local market.

You should contact with Shop Hive.

Even if they do ship to Pakistan, its always wise to buy from local dealers, for warranty and other issues.

that local warranty and stuff is total bs. They tell you to go band head of the so-named authorized dealer. The place where you buy your laptop locally, will not give a #$%# as soon as you hand over money to them.

The agony will be over only when a vendor like Dell, HP etc will open their OWN centre in Pakistan without involving any mofo Pakistani middle man.

Well, any company may like to ship to Pakistan free of cost but it is pakistani custom laws which do not allow this. It is a pity, electronics are much cheaper in USA and many other countries but here we have to pay extra.

Paying extra is also very interesting in Pakistan, most of the laptops/electronis comes here via smuggling but they sale here based on the paid duty price. So sellers are earning good here.

Always visit market and get the best price, shophive is one source for laptops price but remember not for everything. I bought a DSLR from a specif shop, whereas shophive price for the same was 8-9K extra.

Best bet is if you have a friend abroad, who can bring laptop for you on his next visit. Best price is guaranteed then.

Regards,

@ hawker, dono what has been your experience but i have bought several laptops along with other things from local dealers and got a reasonable after sales service.
