and what kind of publishers there are for mobile apps?

Like adsense for websites/blog

Google ads, and most other advertisers also support mobile-ads. Check with your favorite one to find out integration possibilities.

You can also use limited functionality features to allow free users to unlock full potential of your app through in-app purchases, once they are satisfied and want more of whatever your app has to offer.

do u mean google adsense on mobile apps can be placed?

what other program are there ?

Mobile apps can be profited by:

- ad-services

- providing features for a price

- paid app

But there are risks in going into the mobile development business:

- small scope

- not bankable for the long haul

- apps are hit n miss as competition is high

Why Small scope?

i think iphone Android market is growing daily.

Where is large scope in programming

The intended audience of any app limit its scope to a particular user base and hence the term 'small scope' as used by deffury. In other words, its not like every android/iphone user will be downloading your app. Only those who are interested in it, and, depending on the nature of your app, they may be few in comparison.

Anyway don't feel discouraged. There are always a lot of "ifs" when starting anything. So do try whatever you intend.

Also what kind of app do you have in mind for developing?
