All seniour members Plz Help......PTCL DSL Problem

When light goes out and comes back again my DSL problem starts.....I have to restart 8-10 times to get my downstream/upstream to back to normal.............I have shiro modem and have changed adapter also but this problem is either modem or DSL itself.....can you plz help me. I have attached pic of my mode page:

shiro modem suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx get linsys (expensive) or ptcl's huawei or zte 831II blue one.

During the restarting phase I also get limited or no connectivity warning!

What do you mean by ‘get downstream/upstream back to normal’? What is the DS/US before normal?

What is you SNR? Which ADSL Mode are you using? (Post your ADSL Stats of before ‘normal’ and after ‘normal’).

Of course you will get limited or no connectivity warning, as it is in the process of obtaining a new IP address.

Hello Nab, I get 0/0 as down/upstream before and 4093/908 after, during that time DSL light is completely off and half of time i can't access 192.168.1.1 page. Line is perfect as when it starts working it don't give any further problem. I had this modem for 2 years and the problem starts for last 2 weeks

us margin 0 that a main problem complain ptcl

wen the line parameters are changing and showing variation in sync rate that definately indicates some line problem...get ur line man and ask him to refresh your pairs....and since its shiro...get it checked too..cuz most ov the tym shiro is the culprit.!

Thx PPL thats why i hate ptcl I complain abt line prolem many times for noise, and they always say it is normal..... and believe me it is severe line noises

US Margin is 9 and DS Margin is 0 even after ‘normal’. How is your line perfect?

Have you checked your connection with any other ADSL mode except ADSL2+ (like G.DMT)?

Its a definately line problem......I also gave money to lineman last year but that make him lalchi and he dc our home line once every month or so......so thats why i don't give money to him :( ptcl suxx

According to your post, I think there is distortion/noise in your phone line,get it replaced as soon as possible.

haha lucky … i m complaining since 2 months n even higher authority knows me but who cares … i must kill central exchange staff i m fedup becoz of them.

when comes to line issue they do not work and says company policy ur area … lines r die … blah blah

if u want to use DSL then take 200 per month to ur line man though be ready to go into the HELL.
