Acer Aspire 5742 or Fujitsu Lifebook AH530?

Advice needed between chosing these two laptops ? I saw benchmark results for lifebook were better than aspire but Fujitsu is a bit of unknown quantity, I have fears regarding its reliability compared to Acer (whose reliability aint stellar either) that whether it has good service and any accessories available locally.

Also anyone made a purchase from mega.pk ? I am planning to buy one from them so are their products ok and staff is cooperative in case of an issue or not ?

Mega.pk is reliable, though Fujitsu is not a renowned brand in PK, but the lifebook you mentioned is made in Germany, definitely a lot better than crappy hp, dell etc in terms of quality.

Ok and what about Lenovo essential b570

Looks a very good choice.

I think Ive made the decision. I would go for lenovo considering it comes with 2nd gen i3. And I hope reliability is ok

Acer 5742 is Much better............................................i bought it two months before and quite satisfied with performance :)

Lenovo B570 hangs while booting if you have connected a password protected portable hard disk. Quite honestly, it has given me four blue screen errors. The company is entirely focusing upon quantity and not quality.

you can see score and specs of my system here.

*2 hours and 45 minutes backup time

*Dont heat up

*never hangs

*light weight and portable

What? Only 1.74 GB RAM usable! This is not good.

OK is that issue associated with using external HDD alone ? What about the experience with rest of features ?

Also Acer Aspire 5742 is no more available at many stores. It's not coming anymore :(. At metro it's available but with dual core processor and costs more than i3 version :D)

This issue is associated only with password protected portable hard disks, remaining work fine. All features are good especially 4 USB ports ( one also acts as eSATA port). But again I will mention blue screen errors. I have updated bios, windows and waiting for next blue screen error. Yet, it has not appeared again.
